After that we went to dinner at the very hip TAO. When you walk into the restaurant there are eight (four on each side) modern, concrete bathtubs filled with water and rose petals with floating candles. The effect is very stunning.

I didn't think it could get much cooler than that until we were seated across from a 25 foot
Buddha!!

The food was to die for! They make some of the best Vegan Food I've ever had. We told our waitress we were Vegan and she came back with a whole list of things we could have. I've heard this is a big celebrity hang out though we didn't see anyone famous while we were there. Even if we had I doubt I would've barely noticed because it was such a fun, loud, energetic place! The service was also very good. When Sterling left the table for a minute the waitress came and folded his napkin! They even brought us steaming hot rolled napkins after we ate some messy lettuce rolls. After Sterling got back from the bathroom he told me that I HAD to go to the bathroom. I thought what can be so special about it? Well they had people that handed you paper towels and squirted lotion on your hands. How would you like that job? Also the whole back of the counter was lined with perfume, lotion, hair spray, deodorant, tums,
breath mints, gum. You name it, it was there.

Wow...how amazing and fancy! It looks like you had so much fun! Can't wait to read part 2! =)
Wow that's awesome! Brad and I have always wanted to do Vegas right...fancy hotels, dinner, and shows etc. Can't wait to hear more! How did the kids handle you being gone?
uh huh, uh huh. Now when are you going to get to the good part? I wanna hear about PHANTOM!! :) Seriously, I have checked your blog at least three times since yesterday, anxious to hear about the rest of your weekend. So far, its very different from mine but sounds like you had a great time!
The kids were really cute when we got back to pick them up from my parent's house, wanting to hear all about our trip and clinging to show that they missed us -- especially Hailee.
The TAO was by far the nicest restaraunt experience I've ever had. Totally classy and great service, decor, food -- and bathroom.
